You have heard the stories of Jesus and His Disciples, those twelve men who followed Him. But what about the women?
Well, this night, you will hear from seven of the other followers—the women who walked with Jesus and the twelve. Join us on Maundy Thursday and hear their amazing stories.
Palm Sunday Worship
Join us for Sunday worship in the Sanctuary at 10:00 am for Palm Sunday worship! We will have a luncheon after at 11:00 am as well. All are welcome to come.
Spring Break - No Student or Children Activities
It’s Spring Break week in Abilene! Our students and children’s programing will not meet this week. Enjoy your week and we will see you Sunday at 9:00 am!
Ash Wednesday Service
Join us for a meaningful Ash Wednesday service as we begin the season of Lent with reflection, prayer, and the imposition of ashes. This sacred time invites us to turn our hearts toward God, seek renewal, and walk in grace. All are welcome to come and worship as we prepare for the journey to Easter.
Wednesday Activities Canceled
Due to the community wide illnesses, our Wednesday night activities for February 12th will be canceled. Praying for all those who are sick that they can recover quickly!
Winterfest Chili Cook Off
Join us for our annual Chili Cook-Off fundraiser, supporting the children’s ministry at SJUMC! Enjoy delicious homemade chili, exciting raffles, and a fun-filled night of bingo—all for a great cause. Bring your family and friends for an evening of food, fellowship, and friendly competition!
