Our church offers a wide range of mission opportunities. There are mission opportunities for all ages, all physical abilities, and time availability. Matthew 25 guides us to serve one another in the love of Jesus Christ.

​Discerning new mission
St. James UMC is currently praying, gathering information, and discerning our involvement in a new mission field. Human Trafficking (human slavery) is at its highest level in all of history. Abilene, TX is not exempt from this problem. Join us in prayer as we seek to discern God's leading in our lives and church family to be part of a solution.
