Women interested in a group which helps them to know God, to experience freedom as whole persons through Jesus Christ, and to learn about missions will enjoy UNITED METHODIST WOMEN (UMW).

The St James UMW unit meets on the third Tuesday of every month at the church. Our unit is active, not only in the local church, but also at the district and conference levels. In January, we conduct the worship services for one Sunday. February, we have a Valentine Candy Sale. The Spring months are usually committed to studies and bake sales. The Summer is concluded with a picnic. Fall is filled with service commitments and joining in the holiday plans of the church. In December we have a Christmas party with outreach projects and installation of new officers.
