St James UMC is very proud of its music program. Amanda Rogers is our director of the Sanctuary Choir & Children's Choir; Jerry Kingston directs our Handbell Choir. In addition, there is ample opportunity for soloists and small vocal and instrumental ensembles to contribute to worship on a regular basis.

The Sanctuary Choir is composed of about 25 very dedicated individuals who are committed to regular rehearsal (Wednesdays, 7:00 - 8:15 pm) in order to provide special music for worship services each week. In addition, major choral works are prepared for Christmas and Easter. The choir also participates in our annual Holy Week production, "The Living Last Supper."

Handbell Choir meets on Wednesdays at 6:00pm throughout the year and participates in worship regularly. Jerry Kingston is our very capable director, so if you're interested in playing bells, talk to Jerry.
